Q1. How does the concept of ‘Rta’ enhance administrative excellence ? किस प्रकार ‘ऋत” की धारणा प्रशासनिक उत्कृष्टता को संवर्धित करती है ?

Q2. The aim of administration is public welfare. Which principle of Geeta upholds this intention ? प्रशासन का उद्देश्य लोक-कल्याण है। गीता का कौन सा सिद्धान्त इस आशय की पुष्टि करता है ?

Q3. Why is non-violence’ or ‘ahimsa’ core value of Gandhian Ethics ? ‘अहिंसा गाँधी की नैतिकता का केंद्रीय मूल्य क्यों है ?

  • Gandhi ji wrote in Young India – “Non-violence is the first article of my faith. It is also the last article of my creed”
  • For Gandhi, ahimsa is not merely a negative state of harmlessness but it is a positive state of love, of doing good even to the evil-doer. He believed truth can never be propagated by doing violence.
  • Practised Satyagraha & Ahima – as life-course. Non-violence is a key concept in the intellectual frame work and practical aspect of Gandhi’s life.

Q4. Define justice according to Plato. प्लेटो न्याय को कैसे परिभाषित करते हैं ?

  • For Plato, justice was considered a virtue of individuals. He divided psyche into three parts: appetite, logic, and spirit. Appetite is the pursuit of pleasure, logic is a love of learning, and the spirit is the animation of the soul. For Plato, in the “just soul,” high spirit and logic align to resist the desires of the appetite — this could also be called “the courage to be good.”

Q9. “Labour is capital and the living capital is inexhaustible. I want to establish equitable relationship between capital and labour. I do not wish for the supremacy of the one over the other.’ Discuss in the context of Mahatma Gandhi.

Q12. Teachings of leaders and reformers never grow old. Bring out their significance in modern context. लोकनायकों व सुधारकों के उपदेश कभी भी पुराने नहीं होते हैं । आधुनिक संदर्भ में उनकी महत्ता को उजागर कीजिए।
