The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the admit card for Civil Services Preliminary Examination, 2017 on its official website (UPSC). The examination is scheduled on June 18. This year, UPSC has planned to take in approximately 980 vacancies through this examination.

CSE 2017: Important Instructions:
Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination–2017 on 18/06/2017 (Sunday) all over India. The Commission has uploaded the e‐Admit Card for the convenience of the admitted candidates on its website (https://www.upsc.gov.in.).
In case of rejection of the applications form, the reasons/ grounds for rejection have also been uploaded. The candidates are advised to download their e‐Admit Cards and take a printout thereof. The admitted candidates will have to produce the printout of their e‐Admit Card at the allotted Venue for appearing in the Examination.
In case the photograph is not visible or available on the e‐Admit Card, candidates are advised to carry two(2) identical photographs (one photograph for each session) along with proof of Identity such as Identity Card; Voter Identity Card; Passport; Driving License or Aadhaar Card and the printout of e‐Admit Card at the Venue of the Examination.
No paper Admit Card will be issued for this Examination.
The candidates are advised to take a printout of the e‐Admit Card and the “Important Instructions to the candidates” (which must be read carefully) well in advance to avoid the last minute confusion.
In case of any discrepancy, the same may be communicated to the Commission immediately by email (email ID uscsp‐upsc@nic.in) latest by 02nd June, 2017 to enable the Commission to take a decision in the matter.
Candidates are also advised to bring Black Ball Point Pen to the Examination Hall on the day of Examination as the candidates shall be required to fill the OMR Answer Sheets and Attendance Lists with Black Ball Point Pen only.
Electronic Gadgets like Cellular/ Mobile Phones, any other devices for communication, laptop, Bluetooth device, and calculator are banned inside the Examination Hall. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action against the candidates concerned including debarment from future Examinations/Selection. Valuable/costly items and bags are also not allowed inside the Examination Venue.

5. परा आरंभ होनेके नधारत समय से20 मनट पूवपरा हॉल मवेश कर।
6. उमीदवार नोट करक ओ एम आर उतर पक म, वशषे कर अनु मांक और परण पुितका क सीरज़ कोड के सबं ंध मववरण कूटब करतेसमय हुई कसी कार क चूक/भलू /वसगं त के मामलेमउतर पक अवीकृत कर दया जाएगा ।
7. यद आप परा आरंभ होनेके नधारत समय के 10 मनट बाद आतेहतब आपको परा मबैठनेक अनमु त नहंद जाएगी ।
8. यद आप अपनेईवेश प मआयोग वारा नदट के सेअयथा कसी अय के /उपके पर परा देतेहतब आपके उतरपक ( िट ) क जांच नहंक जाएगी और आपक उमीदवार र कर द जाएगी ।
9. परा नोटस मकाशत “परा क नयमावल” के अंतगत “परा मवेश दए गए उमीदवार के लए वशषे अनदुेश” और परा भवन के बाहर दशत “पोटर” िजसमअनदुेश का उलेख कया गया है, को पढ़।
10. परा के लए आपक उमीदवार अनंतम है।
11.जहांपरा आयोिजत क जा रह हैउस परसर ममोबाइल फोन, कैलकुलेटर, आई ट गैजेस तथा अय सचं ार उपकरण जैसेलटूूथ आद के इतमे ाल क अनमु त नहंहै। इन अनदुेश का उलघं न कए जानेपर अनशु ासनक कारवाई क जाएगी और भवय क पराओं सेवविजत कर दया जाएगा ।
12. उमीदवार वारा वतुनठ कार के न प मगलत उतर अंकत कए जानेपर पेनट (ऋणामक अंकन) होगी । 13. कालेबॉल वाइंट पैन के अलावा कसी अय पैन सेअंकत कए गए उतरंका मूयांकन नहंकया जायगे ा |
14. उमीदवार को सलाह द जाती हैक वेकमती/मूयवान सामान एवं बैग परा भवन मन लाएं यक उनक सरुा सुनिचत नहंक जा सकती । इस सबं ंध महुए नकु सान के लए आयोग िजमेवार नहंहोगा ।
15. ऐसेउमीदवार, िजनके ईवेश प मफोटो पट नहंह, वेपरा मवेश के लए लखत वचनबंध के साथ साथ पासपोटआकार के दो फ़ोटोाफ़, यके स के लए एक और फोटो क पहचान का माण प जैसेआधार काड, ाइवगं लाइसस , पासपोट, मतदाता पहचानप आद अपनेसाथ लाएं|
