NHPC commissions 50 MW wind power project in Rajasthan

Government-run National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) announced commissioning of a 50 MW wind power project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The project consists of 25 numbers of wind turbine generators each of 2 MW capacity, which has been successfully synchronized with grid in October 2016.

Further, NHPC has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with INOX wind and Rajasthan government for the project.
